TORC Series Event Schedule for Route 66 Raceway

JOLIET, Ill. – The Traxxas TORC Series Presented by AMSOIL PRO classes are providing some midweek racing action at Route 66 Raceway Wednesday and Thursday as part of a huge week of racing with the ARCA Series, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and the IZOD IndyCar Series. One of the biggest names in motorsports, Kyle Busch, is scheduled to race in the PRO 2WD category against the best of the best, including class points leader Rob MacCachren, Ricky Johnson, and Jeremy McGrath, who will be inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America Wednesday prior to the race.

Busch completed a successful test at the “Big House” in Crandon, Wis., last week and then went on to become the first-ever driver to sweep all three of NASCAR’s top series in a single weekend with his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, NASCAR Nationwide Series, and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victories at Bristol Motor Speedway.
