Ansani Designs Releases Light Bumper For New Ford Super Dutys

Tempe, AZ: A fiberglass high-visibility bumper for 2008-current Ford Super Duty trucks is now available from Ansani Designs. Not a cover, this is a direct replacement for the factory bumper.

Ansani Designs manufactures its Super Duty bumpers by hand using a combination of uni-directional fiberglass and ’glass mat along with polyester resin. This produces maximum strength at the lowest-possible weight — nearly half as heavy as the OE steel bumper.

Ansani’s innovative design incorporates mounting pods for three 8-inch KC Rally 800 auxiliary lights. Enthusiasts can choose either long-range or driving-light beam patterns — or mix and match. Bulb choices are 130-watt halogen or ultra-premium 35-watt HID bulb and ballast. The Rally 800s also feature Lexan lenses, stone guards, and a choice of polished stainless-steel or black stainless-steel housing.

Ansani Designs bumpers are shipped in a primer-ready gelcoat. Optionally, bumpers can be finished in a variety of hydro-printed films: camos, metal patterns and even carbon-fiber weaves.

Installation re-uses the factory mounts and brackets. Ansani Designs pre-drills the bumpers to accept the OE hood-latch bracket. Because the fiberglass bumper is thicker than the OE steel one, longer mounting hardware is supplied as needed. Ansani Designs recommends test-fitting its bumpers prior to priming, painting, and transferring over the OE driving lights and plastic trim pieces. Typical installation time (excluding paint and light wiring) is about two hours. The bumper is also compatible with many aftermarket grilleguards.

Applications are also available for 2003-07 Silverado/Sierra 2500HD (Hella Rallye 4000 lights recommended), 2007-09 Silverado/Sierra, 2008-09 F-250 and 2007-09 Tundra (all designed with KC Rally 800 lights in mind).
