Moab Easter Jeep Safari Coverage brought to you by GenRight Off Road.

The Easter Jeep Safari kicked off this weekend in Moab, UT.  The City is filled with Jeeps of all shapes and sizes.  The best news is the weather is beautiful.  It’s been blue skies and sunny all weekend long.  We got into town early Sunday afternoon and caught up with our friends from GenRight Off Road in the Portal Campground.  We unloaded our Jeep TJ parked the truck and trailer and headed into town to get the feel for things.

It wasn’t long before we made our way over to Potato Salad Hill to see what was happening.  As expected there were 2-300 people hanging out watching the activities as a couple of the brave tackled the hill making it look easy!  GenRight was also on hand giving out free T-Shirts for the people that were following them on twitter and facebook as they announced their locations.

After spending a couple of hours at the hill we made it back to the campground and enjoyed happy hour getting to know our Neighbors.  One could argue that the best part of Jeeping could be the social side of it.  We found out that one of our neighbors made the trek to Moab all the way from Florida to wheel their brand new Jeep JK.  The stories they had about their trip out here were amazing to say the least.

A round of drinks at the campground was followed by dinner at Zax pizza.  For those of you that know Zax and their all you can eat pizza bar you can imagine the damage that we did.  Our group of 20 people put a hurting on the place as we downed the pizza as fast as they could get it out of the oven.  It could be safe to say that Zax lost money on the all you can eat buffet with our group.

Dinner was followed by a trip to a friends hotel to see his new project car that I can’t really tell you too much more about.  But we should be able to post pictures of it by the end of the week.  It is truly amazing!

We will try and check in daily and upload some new pictures and let you know the happenings around town.
